Lionel Huish
Owner and Managing Director
Lionel has worked with Airflow for over 40 years, running the company himself since 1985. He started in the family business when it was just a 2 man band, working with his father to start with, importing ventilation products and developing them for the UK Market. Lionel took over in 1985 on the death of his father and started to develop his own range of products starting with the first 5″ core vent in the market to allow 100cm² of free air for British Gas. He then went onto develop a full range of products for the building industry always with the Easy fit concept at hand. Lionel continues with the day to day running, having a hands-on approach and works closely with the team at the same time working on product development for either in house or to meet the customers requirements.
“We have been accused of being too personal but our approach is to work with people, befriend them and gain their confidence and trust in producing the product they require and deliver to their expectations.” Says Lionel.
Lionel is married with 6 children, one of which is Tom who works in the company as Production Director, as well as his wife, Lucy, who runs the accounts.
